This verse in the King James

King James wording
In all the signs and the wonders, which the LORD sent him to do in the land of Egypt to Pharaoh, and to all his servants, and to all his land,

The one sent into constriction carries a word whose root also means release: ⁨שָׁלַח⁩ (shalach).

What constricts you is not too complete to be reached: the LORD’s sending touches its ruler, its servants, and its land. The signs make release visible inside the very place that resists it.

WHAT THIS UNDOES

The structure holding me is too deep and wide for release to reach all of it.

שְׁלָחוֹ

shelāḥô

GROWS FROM

שלח

To send forth; to release or let go.

“sent him” in this verse is shelāḥô. The word translated “sent” comes from ⁨שָׁלַח⁩ (shalach), a root that holds sending and release together. The one sent into Egypt carries a movement that loosens what Egypt holds; ⁨שִׁלֹחַ⁩ (Shiloach), “sent,” extends the same root into the name of waters associated with restored sight.

ALSO GROWS

shilluaḥ: Sending away; release.

שִׁלּוּחַ

This branch makes the releasing sense of the verse’s “sent” audible within the same root.

Shiloach: Sent; the name of a water channel.

שִׁלֹחַ

The pool of Siloam, named from Shiloach, carries this root into a scene where washing opens a blind man’s sight (John 9:7).

God’s sending enters places of bondage and blindness to open a path toward release.

Now go, and I will send you to Pharaoh, that you may bring my people, the children of Israel, out of Egypt.
Exodus 3:10 · SDVThe sending goes directly toward Pharaoh’s power so the people can come out of Egypt.
The breath of the Lord LORD is upon me, for the LORD has anointed me to bring good news to the bowed ones; he has sent me to bind up the broken of heart, to proclaim flowing freedom to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are chained.
Isaiah 61:1 · SDVThe one sent carries liberty and the opening of what holds people captive.
And he said to him, Go, wash in the pool of Siloam, the Sent. So he went and washed, and came seeing.
John 9:7 · SDVThe pool named “Sent” becomes the place where washing opens a blind man’s sight.
Now go, and I will send you to Pharaoh, that you may bring my people, the children of Israel, out of Egypt.
Exodus 3:10 · SDV

Exodus 3:10 gives the sending its direction: toward Pharaoh so the people can be brought out of Egypt. The shared ⁨שָׁלַח⁩ (shalach) root lets “sent” hold both the commission and the release in one movement.
