This verse in the King James

King James wording
Then he brought me forth into the utter court, and caused me to pass by the four corners of the court; and, behold, in every corner of the court there was a court.

Every corner contains another court, so the boundary that seems to end the space already holds space within it.

You are brought into the outer court and led along its four corners; none is empty, because each contains a court within the court. The edge keeps opening into further space as you move through it.

WHAT THIS UNDOES

A corner is only a dead end or leftover space outside the meaningful whole.

וַיּוֹצִאֵנִי

wayyotsi'eni

GROWS FROM

יצא

To go out or come out; in this form, to bring someone out.

“brought me forth” in this verse is wayyotsi'eni. The verb is causative: someone brings you out, rather than you simply arriving. The same root names going out and Israel being brought out of Egypt, so the outer court is reached through an act of opening movement.

ALSO GROWS

yatsa: Go out, come out.

יָצָא

This is the base motion behind the verse’s causative form: the speaker is brought out.

yetsi'ah: Going out, exit.

יְצִיאָה

This noun preserves the same root as a movement from one space into another, fitting the passage into the outer court.

Sacred space gains meaning through ordered enclosures, with each boundary opening into a distinct space.

And you shall make the enclosure of the dwelling. On the south edge, southward, there shall be hangings for the enclosure of fine twisted linen, one hundred forearms long along that edge.
Exodus 27:9 · SDVThe tabernacle’s court is a defined enclosure that gives the sacred space an ordered boundary.
Then he brought me out into the outer court, along the road toward the north, and brought me to the chamber facing the cut-off place and standing before the building toward the north.
Ezekiel 42:1 · SDVThe outer court leads into a further chamber, showing space unfolding through successive boundaries.
For a tent is built, the first one, in which are the lampstand, the table, and the loaves laid out, which is called the set-apart place.
Hebrews 9:2 · SDVThe tabernacle’s first enclosure holds a distinct space with its own contents and name.
And it came to be on this very bone of the day, that the LORD brought the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt by their hosts.
Exodus 12:51 · SDV

“Brought me forth” and “did bring … out” carry the same root, ⁨יצא⁩ (yatsa, to go out). The root links the vision’s movement into an outer space with the recurring scriptural movement of being brought out.
