What Does Exodus 29:22 Mean in the King James?
Also thou shalt take of the ram the fat and the rump, and the fat that covereth the inwards, and the caul above the liver, and the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon them, and the right shoulder; for it is a ram of consecration:

THE KEY
The Hebrew calls this the ram of the fillings: consecration is pictured as hands being filled with what is set apart for service.
THE MEANING
Consecration takes material form here: particular portions of the ram, the fat, the covering of the inward parts, the caul above the liver, the kidneys and their fat, and the right shoulder, are selected and set apart. The verse names both inward parts and the shoulder, holding inner substance and embodied strength within the same act of dedication.
WHAT THIS UNDOES
Consecration is only an inward attitude with no material form.
THE ROOT
מִלֻּאִים
millu'im
GROWS FROM
מלא
m-l-ʾ
To fill, be full, or make full.
The Hebrew phrase is “ram of the millu’im” (מִלֻּאִים, fillings or installations), from מלא (male, to fill or be full). In the rite, the portions are placed into Aaron’s and his sons’ hands (Exodus 29:24), so consecration appears as receiving specific things for service.
ALSO GROWS
male: To fill or be full.
מָלֵא
This basic form reveals the concrete image beneath consecration: something is made full, not merely assigned a title.
mille yād: Fill the hand; install or set apart for service.
מִלֵּא יָד
This phrase makes the link between filling and consecration explicit, showing why the ram is named for the fillings.
THE PATTERN
Set-apart service becomes visible through what is placed in or upon the hands.
And thou shalt put all in the hands of Aaron, and in the hands of his sons; and shalt wave them for a wave offering before the LORD.The gold for things of gold, and the silver for things of silver, and for all manner of work to be made by the hands of artificers. And who then is willing to consecrate his service this day unto the LORD?And when they had fasted and prayed, and laid their hands on them, they sent them away.THE THREAD
For Moses had said, Consecrate yourselves to day to the LORD, even every man upon his son, and upon his brother; that he may bestow upon you a blessing this day.The Hebrew phrase מִלְאוּ יֶדְכֶם (millu yedkhem, “fill your hands”) is translated “Consecrate yourselves.” It makes explicit the filling image held in “ram of consecration” here: dedication is a filling of hands for the LORD.
