This verse in the Selah Decoded Version

The ruach that directs the creatures, the same word for breath and wind, is already in the wheels moving alongside them.

Here, you see one movement passing through the living creatures and their wheels: they go where the ruach goes, and the wheels rise alongside them because the living creature’s ruach is in them. Direction and motion belong to one animating presence already within the whole.

רוּחַ

ruach

GROWS FROM

רוח

To blow; moving air as wind or breath.

Ruach can mean wind, breath, or spirit; Hebrew holds these senses in one word where English selects “spirit.” The living creature’s ruach is in the wheels, binding breath, direction, and motion together.

ALSO GROWS

ruchot: Winds; spirits, the plural form of ruach.

רוּחוֹת

This form names moving winds, keeping the moving-air sense audible when ruach is rendered “spirit.”

rucho: His spirit or breath, a possessive form of ruach.

רוּחוֹ

This form echoes “the spirit of the living creature”: the ruach belongs to the living one whose movement the wheels share.

An unseen ruach becomes visible through the movement and life it animates.

And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
Genesis 1:2 · KJVThe Spirit of God moves over the waters, making ruach the unseen presence whose movement is visible in creation.
Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live.
Ezekiel 37:9 · KJVRuach is rendered as wind and breath as it moves into the slain and they live.
The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.
John 3:8 · KJVThe Greek pneuma holds wind and Spirit together, with its unseen movement known by what it does.
Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live.
Ezekiel 37:9 · KJV

The same Hebrew word, ⁨רוּחַ⁩ (ruach), is rendered “wind,” “winds,” and “breath” in this verse. Its range opens Ezekiel 1:20: ruach can direct movement and animate life, holding the creatures and their wheels within one motion.
