What Does Psalm 135:9 Mean in the King James?
Who sent tokens and wonders into the midst of thee, O Egypt, upon Pharaoh, and upon all his servants.

THE KEY
The sending reaches Egypt’s center: release meets the ruler and the whole servant system from within.
THE MEANING
The verse places you inside a constricted order and shows that what is sent can reach its very center. The signs touch both the ruler and all who serve beneath him.
WHAT THIS UNDOES
This overturns the belief that what is constricted is unreachable from within: the sending enters its middle and reaches ruler and servants alike.
THE ROOT
שָׁלַח
shalach
GROWS FROM
שלח
To send forth, release, or let go.
The verse’s sending does not remain outside Egypt; it enters the middle of the constriction. The same root carries the sense of release, so what is sent reaches the place where release is needed.
ALSO GROWS
Shiloach: The sent waters; the name of the pool.
שִׁלֹחַ
The name carries sending into a place of restoration, echoing how what is sent enters Egypt’s midst.
shaliach: One sent; a messenger or emissary.
שָׁלִיחַ
The branch shows that sending carries something beyond its point of origin and into the place it is meant to reach.
THE PATTERN
What God sends enters the center of constriction, where signs expose its reach and release begins.
And I will stretch out my hand, and smite Egypt with all my wonders which I will do in the midst thereof: and after that he will let you go.Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know:God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will?THE THREAD
He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.“Sent” comes from שָׁלַח (shalach), the same root in both verses. Here the sending carries word, healing, and deliverance together: release arrives where destruction has taken hold.
