This verse in the King James

King James wording
The way of the just is uprightness: thou, most upright, dost weigh the path of the just.

The word translated “weigh” also means “make level,” so God’s weighing of the just path is also its leveling.

The verse presents alignment as a path God weighs and makes level. The one who levels it is called upright, so the path’s straightness reflects God’s own. Your way is held in that measure now.

WHAT THIS UNDOES

The belief that your alignment depends on getting every step perfectly right by yourself gives way here: God is the one who weighs and levels the path.
